Shiv Kumar Batalvi (23 July [1][2] - 6 May [3][4]) was an Indian poet, essayist and playwright of the Panjabi language.
He was best get around for his works of fictional poetry. He was also christened Birha Da Sultan. He was the youngest recipient of Sahitya Akademi Award.
